Assignia has been awarded numerous sections on all the High-Speed lines in Spain.

Railroad infrastructure construction is one of the activities in which the company has the most experience.

Its position in the sector is the result of an extensive background in railroad construction with numerous high-speed, conventional and metro line, as well as railway station, construction projects, for which it has its own fleet of machinery and technology. This experience also translates into railroad and metro line conservation and maintenance contracts.

In Spain, Assignia Infraestructuras has been awarded numerous sections of all the High-Speed lines in Spain (AVE):

  • Madrid-Seville line.
  • Madrid-Zaragoza-Barcelona-French border line.
  • Cordoba-Malaga line.
  • Madrid-Valladolid line. Segovia Station.
  • Madrid-Castilla la Mancha-Valencia-Murcia line.

At the international level, it signed the contract for the installation of 200 km of high-speed track between Ankara and Istanbul in Turkey, where it also participated in the railroad logistical centres in Bilecik and Izmir.

Assignia Infraestructuras has also carried out maintenance on various railroad lines and a metro line in Mexico City; the construction of 152 km of railroad line in India; in addition to the refurbishment and maintenance of Caracas Metro Line 1 and the adaptation of Line 2 in Valencia, Venezuela.

In Algeria, the company will construct the first tram in Ouargla, a line of 12.6 km that will have 5 intermodal stations and 23 stations. This will be the second railroad infrastructure that Assignia Infraestructuras builds in North Africa. The first was the construction of a 63-km stretch of the Tanger-Kenitra high-speed line.
