Assignia specialises in EPC turnkey projects, as well as in the operation and maintenance (O&M) of wind, hydro and solar power plants.

Assignia Infraestructuras has the most innovative technology relating to generating renewable energy (biofuel, solar, wind and co-generation power plants). It develops constant technological improvements through a powerful R&D&I department.

Assignia Infraestructuras has invested over 13 million euros in cutting-edge equipment and machinery. The following stand out among the technological systems it has available:

  • Information systems that allow the following to be managed through IT: incidents, infrastructure inventory, work reports, web zone maps, machinery and personnel management, technician and user consulting, projects and costs, etc.
  • Fingerprint access control system.
  • Identification of existing networks by non-destructive methods.

Solar Energy

Assignia has extensive experience in executing EPC projects (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) on photovoltaic plants.  

Thanks to our close relationships with technology manufacturers, we are able to offer an extensive range of solutions to our customers.

Assignia operates, constructs and maintains its own power plants as well as those for third parties, with over 130 MWp.

Thanks to this power plants Assignia Infraestructuras has been actively involved in the Renewable Energy Plan of Spain.

Generation EPC

  • Spain - 7 photovoltaic power plants (36 MWp)
  • Italy - 10 photovoltaic power plants (80 MWp)
  • France - 1 photovoltaic power plant (10 MWp)

The production capacity of these power plants is 182 GWh/year .

Wind Energy

Assignia has developed wind farm projects with over 350 MW.

Within the comprehensive project Assignia covers all or part of the project's needs according to the customer's requirements: Machinery, civil engineering, building and operation and maintenance.

Generation IPP

  • Taza Wind Farm | Morocco (50 MW power, 150 GWh/year production capacity) | in execution
  • Gecama Wind Farm. Cuenca | Spain (300 MW power, 1000 GWh/year production capacity) | in project
  • Elk Wind Farm. Poland (14 MW power, 40 GWh/year production capacity) | in execution

Generation EPC

  • Kisilice Wind Farm. Poland (38.2 MW installed power, 87 GWh/year production capacity)
  • Malbork Wind Farm Poland (20 MW installed power, 46 GWh/year production capacity).

These wind farms have a combined production of 1,150 GWh/year.

Hydropower

Assignia has licenses for the construction, operation, operation and maintenance of hydropower plants.

The hydropower projects developed by Assignia include the development of all phases: design and engineering, civil engineering, supply of equipment and machinery (turbines etc.), electromechanical assembly and commissioning. The construction of transmission lines to distribution networks is also included.

Assignia is an EPC and IPP independent power producer and has licenses for the construction, use, operation and maintenance of hydropower plants for 49 years.

Over 92 ms in operation has already been generated, with a production capacity of 300 GWh a year.
